Stakeholder map
A stakeholder map is a core tool for strategic communications. This simple matrix assesses key stakeholders according to their relative influence and their level of interest in, or connection to, a project or organization. This process often uncovers overlooked stakeholder groups who could become opponents if ignored, or advocates if mobilized. It can also bring to light stakeholders who are commanding more of senior management’s time and attention than warranted.
